The Peninsula Sailing Club is a non-profit organization established in 1959. Its purposes

 include promoting and encouraging amateur sailing, holding races, and fostering junior

Upon paying the membership initiation fee and dues, members may qualify as a 'Skipper' by

demonstrating capable and responsible operation of 'C-Larks' to a PSC officer with such

skills as proper boat rigging, sailing upwind and downwind in 5 knot minimum wind, jibing

 and tacking.  Only qualified Skippers are allowed access to the boats. Skippers may take

 up to 3 others sailing in the boats and are encouraged to pass on their skills to other
